Payday Advances - Should you apply?

By: Andrew John Evans

Cash advances are small loans typically which range from $100 to $500, but sometimes going up to $1500. Payday advances can be applied for any situation and are supposed to be paid back on the customers next payday, hence the term - payday loans.

A customer can make an application for a payday loan by applying at a cash advance provider and supplying proof of earnings. The customer would then leave a cheque to the cash advance providers which will be cashed on the day of the borrowers next payday. As long as their are sufficient funds in the customers account on the day they get paid, the cheque will cover the loan they have taken out and the loan, including the interest charges will be paid. If however, the customer does not have enough cash to cover the loan on the day specified, the debt will go on and the applicant will have to pay off the extra interest and possibly a late fee on their next payday. If this happens, it is easy for a the applicant to get stuck in a spiral of debt.

A better way to apply for a cash advance is to fill in a simple application form on the Internet. There are now many websites providing cash advances. Most sites ask that the customer to fill in their personal details along with some bank information and sometimes the details of references. Some websites require the customer to fax documents which can prove the customers ability to pay the loan back such as bank statements. However, many web sites now provide payday loans with no faxing needed, making the application a great deal quicker and easier.

What ever website you choose you should check that you choose a reputable company and read all the terms and conditions properly. Never rush into obtaining any loan and although it can be tempting because of the quick turn around, cash advance companies should be researched properly before hand.
