The Powerful Germ, Bacteria and Virus fighting Thieves Essential Oil Blend

This blend was created from research about a group of 15th-century thieves who rubbed oils on themselves to avoid contracting the plague while they robbed the bodies of the dead and dying. When apprehended, these thieves disclosed the formula of herbs, spices, and oils they used to protect them-selves in exchange for more lenient punishment.

This specific blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils was tested at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah in 1997 the studies showed the anti-bacterial effectiveness of the Thieves blend against airborne microorganisms.

One analysis showed a 90 percent reduction in the number of gram positive Micrococcus luteus organisms after diffusing Thieves for 12 minutes. What Oils are in Thieves Essential Oil Blend?

Clove: oil, natures riches source of eugenol, and is the highest-scoring single ingredient tested for its antioxidant capacity on the ORAC scale 1,078,700. Clove is also known for its immune-enhancing properties. Its antiviral, antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antioxidant. Clove contains antiviral and antibacterial phenolics known as phenylpropanoids. Clove oil at very small levels (0.06%) totally inhibited toxic mold and aflatoxin production.

Clinical studies have shown that Clove and its primary chemical components of phenol and eugenol kills:

ANTIVIRAL EFFECTS OF EUGENOL:
Eugenol strongly inhibits growth of HSVI and HSVII and significantly delayed the onset of herpetic lesion on the eyes of infected animals.

TOXIC MOLDS:
Aspergillus parasiticus is a soil-borne fungus growing on both living and decaying plant matter. This mold produces mycotoxins as metabolic by-products. One mycotoxin, aflatoxin BI has been identified as being the most toxic, carcinogenic, hepatotoxic and potentially mutagenic. In 1997 Sue Chao tested Thieves essential oil at Weber State University for its antimicrobial effects:

When diffused, Thieves essential oil blend decimates 3 of the most common pathogenic bacteria and killed over 99% of micrococcus luteus bacteria within 20 minutes. The longer the Thieves essential oil was diffused the greater the reduction in microorganisms. The pathogens kept dying over time.

Here are the results of a study on the effects of Thieves essential oil blend on Aerosol-borne Bacteria:

BACTERIA COUNT (CFU) STARTING AT 0 TO 4500

1. With the bacteria of M. Luteus it was around 4100 and after using Thieves essential oil the count dropped to around 700.

2. With P. Aeruginosa it was around 2000 and after using Thieves essential oil, it dropped to 1.

3. With S. Aureus it was around 2300 and after using Thieves essential oil it dropped to 1000.
