As human beings, we tend to think and act inwardly. That is, we approach the world and our actions based on our own rationalizations and thoughts. It's just how we were brought up instinctively, it's not our fault.

Now use this technique when you eat. It will help you focus more on how much you're eating, why you are eating and what your weight is. I can guarantee you that you'll want to eat less and more healthy foods if you do this.
It's a funny thing but what happens when we notice others doing stuff wrong (even though we might do the exact same things) we tend to pass judgement. But when it's us we just ignore those exact things which we would criticise others for.
How often have you walked through a mall picking out faults in people in front of you. She's got a big butt and those pants make her look terrible or she needs to lose weight. Sound like familiar thoughts?
Well brace yourself people are doing the exact same thing to you may be even your friends especially if you have put on a few pounds or dress rather strangely.
But this is the score. If you had a big butt or went out in totally inappropriate clothes you wouldn't know it even if someone told you. In fact you'd wonder what they were talking about.
One of my friends is a fashion and style guru and they told me she finds all the time women who just don't believe how they really look, and when they realize they either break down in tears sometimes in relief other times in shame. If you have never used a 360 degree mirror try and find one some clothing stores have them.Look at your body and you be suprised what you see I'd guarantee it.
No matter how we look we don't tend to judge ourselves, we just rationalize.
